About Us:
Precision Blades has been manufacturing bandsaw blades in Mississippi for manufacturers and fabricators of Foam, Rubber Skiving, Polyurethane, Leather Splicing, Cardboard, Packaging, Food, Wood, Metals, Textiles, etc. since 1983. We are a family-owned firm searching for laborers to manufacture bandsaw blades using semi-automated welding power stations, hand tools, and other machines and components. Our ideal candidates are reliable, like working with their hands on fast-paced precision projects, and enjoy a family atmosphere. When we hire new team members, we don't require them to know the technical ins and outs of the position, but we are looking for great culture fits - we will train you for everything else. About You:
You are able to read, write, and comprehend the meaning of basic communications. You have the ability to learn basic computer and scanning systems. You can remain on your feet in an upright position and move about on foot for the duration of your shift - you will also bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach at or above shoulder level. You have basic counting and math skills, you can operate a calculator, and you know how to read a tape measure.
The Position:
Set up welding power station power supply (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings and fix issues that might occur Feed blade stock into semi-automated flash butt welding power supply Use hand-held grinders to finish material and check for flaws Meet daily production expectations for the product line assigned Adhere to health and safety regulations Requires close attention to detail Benefits built for you: Competitive pay Medical, dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan Paid vacation & holidays Great opportunities for career growth
