Job Description
Hi, I'm a local egg producer/farmer here in the Gallatin valley and I'm looking for help in my operation for part of each week in the mornings. I looking for one or two to help with feeding my birds, collecting eggs, and cleaning of facilities. Have to be okay with tedious work, dust, manure, and chickens. Not pretty work but really easy going and not difficult at all. No experience required but I am particular on individuals who come into contact with my operation and I require a hard working attitude, be older than 16 years, be dependable, have a clean record, have a dependable vehicle to drive to and from work, be able to focus on the details, and have a valid government identification. This is not an cash job. I'm not legally allowed to hire anyone who owns chickens of their own, have had large quantities of birds in the past, or deals with other flocks of birds for biosecurity reasons and due to guidlines of my licenses. Looking to find someone to work throughout the week, specifically Saturday to Thursday but I'm flexible depending on the situation and might be willing to add on a day or so. The time for work is from 8 am to noon. I prefer to hire someone looking to work long-term and willing to work with a my set schedule for every week.
