Day Laborer

Summary:

Trail Creek Land & Livestock is looking for experienced and dependable Day Workers to assist with various cattle‑related tasks on an as‑needed basis. This is a seasonal position, ideal for individuals with strong cattle‑handling skills who are available during peak working periods.

Responsibilities:

Help during works, including marking, branding, weaning, and shipping. Assist in daily cattle care, including feeding, watering, and basic health checks. Upkeep ranch appearance by repairing farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Operate farm and heavy equipment such as tractors, skid loaders, and trucks. Safely perform tasks assigned. Adhere to all industry, company, and local ranch policies and procedures. Perform daily work that may include independent tasks and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Available to work on an as‑needed basis. Safely and proficiently work cattle on horseback while following the company's animal husbandry/welfare policies. Safely and efficiently gather cattle in pasture and work cattle in corrals/pens, adhering to low‑stress principles. Have reliable transportation and own horse(s). Be punctual, respectful, and safety‑conscious.
