Shop Laborer Position Summary Carteret Marine Services is seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Laborer to assist with daily operations in our shop and laydown yard. No previous experience or specialized skills are required. We are willing to train the right person. This is a hands-on position supporting our welders, mechanics, and other shop personnel while helping keep our shop, equipment, and yard clean, organized, and ready for daily operations. Responsibilities Assist welders and other shop personnel as needed Perform grinding and basic material preparation Clean and organize the shop and work areas Clean and put away tools and equipment Sweep, pick up debris, and dispose of trash and scrap materials Load, unload, move, and organize materials and supplies Maintain and organize the laydown yard Weed eat and perform general grounds maintenance Clean equipment, vehicles, boats, trailers, and materials as needed Help prepare materials and equipment for upcoming projects Perform general labor and miscellaneous shop tasks Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications No previous experience required Dependable and able to report to work on time Willing to learn and take direction Strong work ethic Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to perform physical labor throughout the workday Willing to work around welding, fabrication, marine equipment, and heavy equipment Benefits Carteret Marine offers benefits to eligible employees, including: Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid holidays Physical Requirements This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and performing physical labor throughout the workday. Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
