Conversion Crew Fargo Force - 1.0 Fargo, ND Job Details 18 hours ago Qualifications Safety standard operating procedures Full Job Description Job Description The Fargo Force is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Conversion Crew for the upcoming season. This vital role is responsible for the efficient and safe setup and breakdown of the arena for various events. You will play a crucial part in transforming the venue, ensuring it is ready to deliver an exceptional experience for our fans and performers. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to teamwork. Responsibilities Execute the setup and breakdown of event equipment, including ice decking, dasher boards, glass, goals, netting, staging, tables, chairs, and other event-specific items Safely load and unload equipment and materials from storage and delivery vehicles Operate various tools and equipment required for event conversion, following all safety guidelines Work collaboratively with other crew members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule Perform pre-event checks and post-event cleanup to maintain a safe and organized environment Adhere to all operational procedures and safety protocols at all times Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding task progress and any issues Perform other duties as assigned to support arena and event operations Qualifications Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including cold temperatures, loud noise levels, and varying light conditions Proven reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as part of a team Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace rules Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the event schedule Prior experience in a similar physically demanding role or event setup is a plus, but not required A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a successful team environment What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in live sports and entertainment venue operations Development of valuable teamwork, problem-solving, and physical labor skills Opportunity to work behind-the-scenes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Contribution to creating memorable experiences for fans and event-goer Networking opportunities within the sports and events industry We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
