Job Description
Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Laborer/Welder based out of our Tinton Falls, NJ Recycle Plant to support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by OSHA safety standards. in our East Region. This role is responsible for Comply with all industry safety rules, policies, procedures and applicable government regulations. Day to Day Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition Perform general labor tasks including shoveling, raking, and moving materials as needed Participate in routine maintenance, cleaning, washing of the facility and equipment Operate small equipment as needed such as a skid steer, haul truck or water truck Comply with all industry safety rules, policies, procedures and applicable government regulations Perform daily workplace inspections and reports deficiencies immediately to supervisor Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned About You At least 1-2 years of experience Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance Welding knowledge preferred Positive, Team-based attitude The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required. The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy) Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Working Conditions While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
