7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday, Friday Laborer Job Summary The Laborer performs a variety of general manual labor tasks to support daily operations at the Sutro Transfer Station. This role works under direct supervision and is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Pick up debris in and around the facility to maintain cleanliness and safety. Perform general labor tasks such as: Lifting and moving materials Loading and unloading vehicles Digging, refilling holes, and basic grounds work Mowing, trimming, and assisting with equipment operations Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE (steel‑toed shoes). Assist with other tasks as assigned by site leadership.

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or GED 0-4 years of previous labor, warehouse, or outdoor work experience

Preferred:

Associate degree or equivalent experience (not required)

Certificates/Licenses:

None required Skills & Abilities Ability to follow instructions and work safely Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the day Able to lift and handle objects under 30 lbs regularly Willingness to work outdoors and in environments with dirt, odors, noise, and weather exposure Work Environment Manual labor setting with exposure to outdoor elements Occasional exposure to occupational risks (cuts, burns, chemicals) Frequent physical activity including lifting, bending, and moving materials #IND1 #ZR
