Job Description
Overview We're looking for a reliable individual to help with daily auction operations: organizing and cataloging items, photographing, clean outs, and general lifting/moving such as moving furniture up & down stairs. Some days you will get dirty. Must be detail oriented, hands on, comfortable using a smart phone, a team player and willing to learn. Duties Auction Setups — Preparing tractors, machinery, vehicles, and small items for viewing; staging items neatly and safely, photographing and describing items within the auction software. Load & Unload Items — Assisting consignors and buyers with loading/unloading equipment, tools, and auction items. Smartphone Use — Taking item photos, uploading listings, communicating with management and other staff. Record Keeping — Checking lot sheets, confirming item details, reviewing auction invoices to ensure customers are getting the correct items. Crowd Flow Management — Directing foot traffic, helping maintain order at auction previews and pick-ups. Cleanup — Removing trash when needed, disposing of unsold lots, ensure auction locations are cleaned up and organized after the end of the pick-up. Qualifications Smartphone Competency — Able to take photos, upload listings, send messages, and follow instructions digitally. Clear Communication — Able to talk with clients, customers, and staff respectfully and professionally. Following Directions — Can take instruction, ask questions when unsure, and complete tasks independently. Valid Driver's License Strong Work Ethic — Willing to work outdoors, in all weather, and stay productive during downtime. Team Player — Works well with others, communicates, and helps wherever needed.
