Job Description
Mechanicville City School District is seeking to hire a part-time Laborer.
Days:
Monday-Friday
Hours:
8am-12pm
Laborers are hired by the District to accomplish a diverse variety of tasks under the direct supervision of the Buildings and Grounds Supervisor.
Duties may include: Mowing and trimming of grounds and sports fields
Assists with the preparation of sports fields
Assists with or performs normal maintenance of school properties
Set up/take down for events in the auditorium, cafeteria, gymnasium, etc.
Loading and unloading of supplies and materials
Performs lock up or opening of facilities as directed
Performs cleaning duties as requested Painting and refurbishing work
Operates plow trucks, mowers and tractors as needed
Assist with snow removal and salting
Must be available for "on call" for alarms
Locker repairs and graffiti removal
Performs other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry
