2026-8631 Looking for a steady, hands-on job where you can make a difference? Join a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Stanley, NY as a Sorter and play an important role in keeping recyclable materials moving through the facility and out of the waste stream.

Hiring Range:

$16.00-$17.50/hour, based on experience Regular Full-Time Stanley, NY What You'll Do As a Sorter, you'll work alongside a team to inspect and sort recyclable materials as they move along a conveyor belt. You'll identify materials based on type, size, condition, and grade and place them in their appropriate locations.

Responsibilities include:

Sort assigned recyclable materials efficiently and accurately Inspect materials moving along the conveyor belt Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform general housekeeping and cleaning around plant equipment Report equipment or system problems to the Supervisor immediately Follow all company safety policies and procedures Wear required PPE at all times Complete initial safety training and participate in monthly training Maintain strong attendance and a consistent safety record Work cooperatively with team members to meet facility goals Perform additional duties as needed to support facility operations What We're Looking For We're looking for dependable individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment and enjoy being part of a team. Pay Details:
