This energetic role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy hands-on work. As a key member of our delivery team, you'll assist with loading, unloading, and transporting goods using a box truck, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Assist the driver with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper manual handling practices to prevent injury Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and manual transmission vehicles when required Support route driving duties by helping to navigate traffic regulations and adhere to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Help load and secure items in the truck, ensuring safe weight distribution and compliance with safety protocols Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries Maintain accurate delivery documentation using mobile devices and delivery logs Follow all safety procedures during heavy lifting, moving, and material handling tasks to prevent accidents Qualifications Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Experience in commercial driving, including box trucks or courier services, is highly desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is a plus Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and moving items safely Knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT rules, and route driving best practices Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar devices Comfortable working on mobile devices for route navigation and delivery documentation Ability to work efficiently in a team environment in a physically demanding role Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
