We will consider quick learners and motivated employees with forklift experience and a desire to learn the stone industry. Experience in the stone industry is not necessary for the right person, but forklift certification and/or experience is required. This job is not for everybody. You will work in a warehouse setting and this position is physically demanding. Warehouse freight handlers are responsible for moving 1,000lb+ stone slabs use powered industrial equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts to move stone slabs within the warehouse. You must be able to unload large slabs of marble, granite and other stone safely and efficiently and relocate the slabs within the warehouse. Equipment training is provided including forklift certification.

Friday :

8:30am - 5pm, Saturday 9am-1pm Required Skills Freight handlers must be able to lift by hand objects weighting between 25 and 70lbs. Reliability and strong work ethic Current forklift license or experience using a forklift and ability to obtain forklift license Desired Skills Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods Good organizational and time management skills High school diploma or equivalent Stone Mart is an equal opportunity employer.
