Sam's Club is hiring Freight Handlers to support our Transportation & Logistics team. In this fast-paced role, you will safely load, unload, sort, and stage freight to keep product moving from distribution to clubs and members. You'll operate pallet jacks and forklifts, verify shipment accuracy, follow RF scan processes, and maintain clean, organized docks. Working closely with a team, you ensure on-time departures while meeting safety, quality, and productivity goals in a physically demanding warehouse environment with growth opportunities across Walmart's network. Responsibilities Load and unload trailers, containers, and trucks safely and efficiently Sort, stage, and palletize freight according to club, route, or load plan Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment Use RF scanners or warehouse systems to track and verify freight Inspect freight for damage, report discrepancies, and follow quality standards Maintain clean, safe, and organized dock and staging areas Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines Collaborate with transportation and warehouse teams to meet departure times Perform cycle counts or inventory checks as assigned Support special projects, peak volumes, and process improvements Required Skills Freight loading and unloading Pallet jack operation Forklift operation RF scanning and inventory tracking Warehouse safety and OSHA compliance Basic freight documentation/check-in Pallet building and shrink-wrapping Reading load diagrams and route labels Basic computer or handheld device use Physical stamina and manual material handling
