Compensation:
Starting Wage $14.50/hr Permanent Wage is based upon placement and begins at $20.05/hr
Hours:
3:00pm - 11:00pm
Essential Duties and Qualifications:
Complete daily work schedule for areas assigned within the time frequency provided. Follow trained cleaning instructions established by management. Know and have a basic understanding of chemicals, equipment, and work processes used in the cleaning schedule. Inspect work upon completion of assigned schedule and correct any problems found. Report safety hazards to supervisor. Keep equipment clean and use properly. Understand and know how to perform proper carpet shampooing and hard surface refinishing process. Operate equipment necessary to perform these functions. Occasionally move furniture. Occasionally perform project cleaning. Must be able to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets and must be able to locate them in an emergency situation. Responsible for securing the building. Assist with grass cutting and snow removal. Must have reliable transportation and may be required to work more than one location per shift. Must be able to work in a building alone. Must be able to climb a ladder to change light bulbs, etc. Equipment Used Cleaning equipment (hand and powered) and various hand tools such as a rake, shovel, etc. Mental Demands Concentration (detailed work) Interpretive skills (policy, procedures, data) Understanding verbal instructions Differentiating Communicating (verbal/written) Reasoning skills (analyzing, memorizing, coordinating, and instructing) Reading Physical Demands Lifting and Carrying up to 50 lbs. Climbing (ladders) Walking, Kneeling, Crawling, Pushing and Pulling Stooping, Crouching, Reaching and Balancing Hearing, Speech, and Visual Activity Repetitive Hand Motions Environmental Factors Outside and Inside Temperature and/or Humidity Extremes Noise and Vibration Slippery and/or Uneven Surfaces Sunlight Works Around Moving Objects Works Around Machinery with Moving Parts Works with Hands in Water Low or Intense Illumination Microwaves Works Alone Prolonged or Irregular Hours Biological Exposure (Insects, Mold, Fungi, Bacteria, Animals, Plants, Etc.) Chemical Exposure (Fumes, Vapors, Gases, Dusts, Etc.)
