Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Laborer / Operator to join our team. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the operation of machinery and equipment within the plant, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all operations. Duties Operate and monitor plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify any issues or maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of production data, including output levels and equipment performance. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve operational problems. Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures. Participate in regular maintenance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Skills Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various types of machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. Attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety compliance. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and management. Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not required.
