Job Description
West Penn Utilities is an underground utility construction company. We install telecommunication lines for Comcast and Verizon, as well as work in the private sector. We are currently looking to hire physical labors full time. Requirements Punctuality and reliability, we need all employees to be available for work 5 days a week and arrive to work on time. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Ability to dig holes by hand tools as needed for safety Ability to clean up jobs sites when work is finished Ability to follow safety requirements of equipment used Ability to work in all weather conditions; heat, snow, rain, wind, ect. As well as the ability to perform other similar tasks as required to complete each project Ability to learn tricks and trades of the business to make work smoother and go faster A Valid Drivers License We will train any employee who shows initiative in learning and the ability to take on more responsibility. We have trained most of our machine operators and crew foreman in house, so there is always room for promotion and raises.
