Excavation Laborer (1+ yrs exp)

Excavation Laborer Job Description Looking for someone who is willing to assist excavation crews in checking grades, digging around pipes and following detailed directions from the lead excavator. This is a physically demanding job and is performed in all types of weather. Prior excavation labor experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

Willingness to work hard Essential functions: Work with his/her hands and with power tools run by gasoline and electricity. Be knowledgeable of hazards and safety requirements of the job, and use personal protective equipment. Work with laser levels Dig trenches and install pipe Ability to follow instructions, both verbal and written, but also work without constant supervision. ability to communicate and work with all levels of employees. Must be able to work in all weather conditions, heat, cold, rain, snow etc.

Physical demands:

lifting, bending, climbing, use of hand tools, and standing for long periods of time.
