About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waste Water Plant Operator to join our team in the Homeowner Association industry. As a Waste Water Plant Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper treatment of wastewater in compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and health of our community by ensuring the proper functioning of our water treatment facilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid wastewater treatment operator certification Experience operating and maintaining wastewater treatment equipment and processes Knowledge of regulatory requirements for wastewater treatment and discharge
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field Experience with SCADA systems Experience with laboratory analysis of wastewater samples
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Monitor and adjust treatment processes to maintain optimal performance Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment Collect and analyze samples to ensure proper treatment and discharge of wastewater Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required
Skills:
As a Waste Water Plant Operator, you will utilize your knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment to ensure the proper treatment and discharge of wastewater. You will also use your analytical skills to monitor treatment processes and analyze samples. In addition, you will need to have strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills to maintain accurate records and prepare reports. Finally, you will need to have excellent communication skills to work effectively with other team members and regulatory agencies.
