Job Summary Precision Delivery is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for enthusiastic team players to deliver Amazon packages. We deliver packages and smiles to people within our community daily. We're looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team, as a delivery driver helper delivering Amazon packages. As a Driver Helper for Precision Delivery, you will be on the front lines working directly with our customers and members of your community. It would be your job to exceed customer expectations and make sure all orders, large or small, are safely delivered on time and at the correct location. Interact in a positive and professional manner with customers and the general public while delivering products to customers' homes, retail and business locations. Use handheld technology to delivery customer products, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles. Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good condition at all times. Keep pace in physically demanding job Work in all weather conditions and on various routes Lift and lower packages weighing up to 50lbs on a frequent basis Tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off of hand truck without help on a frequent basis. Maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs. using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team. moving up and down stairs Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo safely. Capable of maintaining focus during long drives while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Be proficient in English sufficient to meet US DOT standard of ability to read road signs and communicate with regulatory personnel. Valid Pennsylvania state ID. Ability to aid in navigation of a medium or large box truck. Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions. Lift up to 300 pounds. Must be able to load and unload packages to be delivered. Work at least one weekend day each week.
