The Company receives loads of bulk grain, transfers the product into shipping containers and prepares them for export. The team works together throughout the yard, using yard hostlers for moving & loading containers in the daily operation of the yard. Ag Transfer is looking for individuals who want to work outside, will reliably start by 5:30am, want to work 40+ hours a week, and grow on a small team ! Job Description Yard Laborers will be responsible for flexing into different roles around the yard, working closely with the Yard team to prioritize workflow to meet deadlines. Main responsibilities include: installing bulkhead in back of shipping containers prior to product loading keeping bulkhead supplies available in loading area clearing the floor scale between loads general upkeep of facility grounds after operations each day must be dependable and on time daily 5:30AM START follow safety policies and procedures at all times Full-time with Overtime. Consistent overtime boosts earnings! Start by 5:30AM, Mon-Fri. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a current Driver's License and reliable transportation to arrive on time by 5:30AM Experienced working outdoors or worked with containers or port work. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute as part of a team Must be able to physically climb up and down transloading equipment and ladders safely. Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and maintain balance throughout the day. Able to carry fifty (50) pounds. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions, tolerate dusty conditions, and have good hearing and hand-eye coordination. Knowledge of basic safety practices; Learn and follow facility's safety policies and procedures. On the job training provided; Promotion options if a willingness to learn different functions at the facility. Good interpersonal communication skills.
