Job Description

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate/Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the driver to ensure products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. Each morning, you will begin in the warehouse by assisting with truck inspections, verifying delivery loads, and helping load materials as needed. Once deliveries are underway, you will ride along with the driver to customer locations and assist with unloading products at each stop. This position requires strong teamwork, attention to safety, and the ability to perform physical work throughout the day in both warehouse and outdoor environments. What's in It for

Who We Are Looking For:
Valid Driver's License preferred Candidate offered job will be required to pass a drug test, and pre-employment physical Lumber yard, construction, building material experience a plus Communicate effectively to co-workers and management about progress of order and deliveries What will your delivery team do: Assist with truck inspections and load verification before departures. Help load delivery trucks as needed. Accompany the driver on daily delivery routes. Safely unload products and materials at customer locations. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Verify product being delivered is correct and complete as shipping documents state Report any discrepancies, damage or other issues with deliveries Must make safety a top priority and always be aware hazards in your environment Attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies Maintain a positive, professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Essential Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy products repeatedly to load trucks at the warehouse and unload the products at job sites. Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds with a helper Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Previous warehouse or delivery experience is a plus, but not required. Must be available to work weekdays and with Saturday overtime as needed Candidates may be required to undergo pre-employment drug testing and background checks as part of the hiring process, unless restricted by applicable state or local laws.
