What We're Looking For We are currently seeking a Class A Truck Driver - Local/Warehouse, based out of our Old Hickory, TN facility. A Bit About the
CDL-A Role:
Modern, well-maintained trucks. Drivers deliver hazardous and non-hazardous freight which may include drums, IBC's and various palletized items. Drivers are all equipped with electric pallet jacks for box deliveries. All PPE and necessary equipment to perform the job is provided i.e., uniforms & ELD's/phone. What You'll Do (When Not Driving) Pull product samples and submit them to the Lab for quality control Label containers and secure closures Inspect, label, store, and prepare products for shipment Stage, load, and unload pails, drums, and totes Operate a forklift Wear required PPE for safety Keep your work area safe, clean, and orderly Lift and/or move 55 lbs Use CDL license to drive to local rail spur and unload rail cars Shuttle trailers to and from the local repair shop Cross-train in areas such as shipping/receiving, bulk handling, inventory control, chemical packaging, fiberglass handling, tote cleaning, preventive maintenance, and yard truck spotting Position requires: High School Diploma CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements Minimum 2 years of CDL-A driving experience (or equivalent) Clean driving record for the past 3 years (both personal and professional) - no violations Tanker experience is a plus When not driving, the driver will be expected to perform job duties in the plant Our Story We get it—you're in the middle of a job search, and most companies are starting to sound the same.
