Job Description
Overview Drat Logistics LLC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver Amazon packages. DSPs are independent businesses that partner with Amazon to deliver packages. Job Summary Join our dynamic delivery team as a Delivery Helper and be a vital part of ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe deliveries to our valued customers. In this energetic role, you will assist experienced drivers in loading, unloading, and delivering goods while providing excellent customer service. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help us maintain high standards of reliability and professionalism on every route. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in delivery operations, and warehouse handling. Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading goods from box trucks and other commercial vehicles using manual lifting techniques, and pallet jacks. Lift packages up to 250 lbs. alongside Driver and a Dulley. Use handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information. Help prepare delivery routes by organizing packages and ensuring all items are accounted for before departure. Support drivers in navigating routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries to residential or commercial locations. Assist with moving items as needed during deliveries or pickups. Safely load and unload cargo, managing heavy lifting tasks with proper technique to prevent injury. Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, answering questions and ensuring customer satisfaction. Support the driver in securing loads properly for transit to prevent damage during transportation. Follow all safety protocols related to driving, lifting, moving goods, and operating equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily delivery schedules and address any issues that arise during routes. Experience Prior experience in customer service or warehouse environments is highly desirable. Previous commercial driving experience, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles, is a plus. Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and delivery driver responsibilities enhances your suitability for this role. Hands-on experience with heavy lifting, moving goods, or operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks is beneficial; certifications are a plus but not required. Strong communication skills combined with a positive attitude will help you succeed in providing excellent customer service throughout your deliveries.
