Driver Helper

Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages from box trucks using manual lifting techniques and equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Support route driving by helping to organize deliveries efficiently and ensuring all items are correctly loaded for each stop Help carry packages to customer doorsteps, ensuring safe handling during heavy lifting and moving tasks Collaborate with drivers to verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and complete delivery documentation accurately Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when interacting with customers during drop-offs, providing excellent customer service Ensure safety protocols are followed during all loading, unloading, and delivery activities Support warehouse operations by helping load trucks at the start of shifts and unload at the end of routes Requirements Prior experience in customer service or warehouse environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving or box trucks is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and delivery driver responsibilities Experience operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided Comfortable working in physically demanding environments involving manual transmission vehicles and heavy cargo Strong communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer interaction Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
