Employee will work approximately 20 hours a week. Must be self-motivated, dependable, and productive. Employees in this class report to the immediate supervisor, if not available report to the Public Works Director.
Tasks performed include:
(1) watering plants & trees; (2) cut weeds and clean out trash around the square; (3) cross train with other departments; (4) follows proper safety guidelines; (5) performs other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Requires a valid Texas Class C drivers license Use of standard equipment and tools Special Requirements Perform manual labor under conditions involving extremes of heat and cold, be exposed to sunlight, stoop, bend, and pull hoses. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, City Officials and the public.
