  • Apply salt, sand, or de-icing chemicals to surfaces to prevent the formation of ice or to melt existing ice, ensuring safer walking conditions. Clearing Pathways
  • Create clear paths wide enough for safe pedestrian passage, ensuring that entrances, exits, ramps, and other critical areas are accessible and safe to use. Safety Awareness
  • Exercise caution and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents while working in challenging weather conditions and using potentially hazardous equipment. Communication
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, and colleagues regarding the status of snow removal activities, potential hazards, and any issues encountered. Record Keeping
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including dates, times, areas cleared, and materials used with the First-Choice service verification app. Physical Stamina
  • Possess the physical stamina and endurance required for prolonged shoveling and labor in cold weather conditions. Teamwork
