Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Truck Unloader / Freight Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently unloading freight from trucks using an electric pallet jack, and for the occasional floor load, by hand. Dealing with truck drivers, and entering data into a tablet. Shift is Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm Duties Safely unload trucks using appropriate heavy equipment such as an electric pallet jack Handle materials manually when necessary, ensuring proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury Follow safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards, including proper use of material handling equipment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate unloading schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related warehouse operations. Familiarity with electric pallet jack Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and recording data accurately. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safety protocol adherence in warehouse settings. Prior experience with warehouse supervisor roles or warehouse experience is a plus.
