Job Summary The Dominion Generation business unit is seeking highly-motivated individuals to perform Laborer activities at the Virginia City Hybrid Energy Center (VCHEC) in Wise County, VA. VCHEC is a new state-of-the-art coal and wood waste-fired power station located in the beautiful mountains of southwest VA (near St. Paul, VA). With a net generating capacity of approximately 610 MW, the station provides electricity to power about 150,000 homes! The successful candidate will perform general housekeeping and maintenance duties inside and outside of the power station in all types of weather conditions. This includes general clean up by sweeping, scrubbing/waxing floors; cleaning in the fuel, ash, lime, limestone and wood handling facilities and other spaces; removing trash and shoveling coal, wood, lime, limestone, fly ash and bed ash from various areas of the station; washing areas such as the boiler, baghouse, scrubber, and material handling area; cleaning vehicles and equipment, other general tasks such as painting, running errands, cleaning up oil spills, etc. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Minimum Requirements (
