Job Description

NON-CDL DRIVER / MATERIAL HANDLER - HOSPITAL SUPPLY CHAIN
United Staffing Solutions is representing a hospital in Burlington, VT seeking an experienced Non-CDL Driver / Material Handler to join its Supply Chain team. This position supports unit distribution and linen services across 46 hospital units , handling orders, deliveries, and the movement of materials throughout the facility.
Pay Rate:
$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Responsibilities Pick, prepare, transport, and deliver supplies and materials throughout the hospital. Support unit distribution and linen deliveries across approximately 46 units. Process regular PAR orders, requisitions, and purchase-order deliveries. Move materials throughout the facility using push carts, U-boats, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. Load, unload, organize, and transport products and supplies. Use mobile ERP systems, iPads, and handheld scanners to document inventory movement, orders, and deliveries. Communicate with Supply Chain team members and Coordinators regarding orders and deliveries. Maintain accurate documentation of material movement and deliveries. Follow hospital safety procedures and proper material-handling practices. Assist with additional Supply Chain/warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of material handling, warehouse, distribution, or related experience. Valid driver's license required. CDL Class A or B is preferred but not required . Experience operating a 26' box truck is preferred. Experience with pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment preferred. Comfortable using scanners, iPads, and mobile inventory/ERP systems. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements This is a highly physical position requiring employees to remain active throughout the workday. The position may require walking up to 20,000 steps per day , pushing loaded carts, moving pallets, lifting and transporting products, and frequently moving throughout the hospital.
Training / Orientation
New employees will complete hospital orientation and receive a minimum of 15 hours of shadowing with experienced Material Handlers to become familiar with hospital procedures, routes, equipment, systems, and daily responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse, distribution, delivery, or material-handling professional looking to work in a hospital Supply Chain environment.
