GCS is seeking a reliable and experienced two-person appliance delivery and installation team for a Monday-Friday residential appliance delivery operation serving the Tacoma/Seattle area. We are especially interested in existing driver/helper teams who have experience working together and have a background in residential appliance delivery and installation. This is a hands-on position involving the delivery, movement, placement, and installation of large household appliances in residential homes. Experienced appliance delivery and installation candidates and established two-person teams are strongly encouraged to apply.
Compensation Combined two-person team compensation:
$400•430 per day Driver /
Installer:
$200•230 per day
Helper:
$180•200 per day Compensation is based on experience, workload, installation responsibilities, and qualifications. The $400•430 per day is the combined compensation for the two-person team , not per individual. Monday-Friday schedule Company 26-ft box truck with liftgate provided Company fuel card provided Driver / Installer Responsibilities The Driver / Installer will be responsible for safely operating the company 26-ft box truck and leading the delivery team.
Responsibilities include:
Safely operate a 26-ft box truck equipped with a liftgate. Complete required vehicle and equipment safety checks. Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules. Load, unload, transport, and safely position large household appliances. Safely operate liftgates, appliance dollies, straps, ramps, and other delivery equipment. Work with the helper to safely maneuver heavy and oversized appliances. Perform residential appliance deliveries and room-of-choice placement. Perform appliance installation within the candidate's experience, qualifications, and assigned responsibilities. Install and connect appliances such as refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when required. Follow applicable manufacturer installation requirements and safety procedures. Properly position, level, secure, and test appliances when required. Protect customer floors, walls, doorways, and property during delivery and installation. Communicate professionally with customers. Obtain required delivery documentation and customer signatures. Report damaged appliances, property damage, delivery issues, or installation problems promptly. Maintain a clean and professional appearance. Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area. Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards. Helper Responsibilities The Helper will work directly with the Driver / Installer to safely complete appliance deliveries and installations.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with loading and unloading appliances. Safely move refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers, and other large appliances. Assist with appliance dollies, straps, ramps, liftgate, and other moving equipment. Assist with safely maneuvering appliances through doorways and into customer homes. Protect floors, walls, doorways, and customer property. Assist with room-of-choice placement. Assist the Driver / Installer with appliance installation when qualified. Assist with positioning, leveling, securing, and connecting appliances as directed. Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area. Communicate professionally with customers. Follow all safety procedures and instructions. Work efficiently as part of a two-person delivery team. Preferred Experience Strong preference will be given to candidates with residential appliance delivery and installation experience.

Driver / Installer
Requirements Valid driver's license. Clean and acceptable driving record. Previous experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle. Experience safely handling large and heavy appliances. Residential delivery experience preferred. Appliance delivery and installation experience strongly preferred. Comfortable using hand tools and installation equipment. Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy appliances with a second person. Professional customer-service skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow delivery routes, schedules, and procedures. Ability to work Monday through Friday. Helper Requirements Previous appliance, furniture, moving, warehouse, or delivery experience preferred. Appliance installation experience strongly preferred but not required for the right candidate. Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy appliances with a partner. Comfortable working inside residential homes. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Able to follow safety procedures and instructions. Strong teamwork and customer-service skills. Ability to work Monday through Friday. Background Check and Drug Screening Required All candidates must successfully complete and pass the required background check and drug screening before being approved for onboarding and assignment. Employment/assignment is contingent upon successful completion of all required screening and onboarding requirements. Important Information This is not a general package-delivery position . The work involves large residential appliances, two-person handling, residential customer interactions, delivery placement, and appliance installation. Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding work, working inside customer homes, handling large appliances safely, and maintaining professional customer-service standards. Candidates with genuine appliance delivery and installation experience will receive priority consideration.
