Job Description

Job Summary:
The Brooke County Public Service District is taking resumes for a Wastewater Laborer. You will help our Operator with multiple duties.
Duties:
  • Respond to alarms or other indications of system malfunctions and take appropriate action
  • Lift Stations- Maintenance and Repair including electrical
  • Remove/Install Pumps
  • Locate Lines
  • Climb in and out of manholes
  • Door tags
  • Water meters readings
  • Shut customer's water service off for non-payment
  • Cut grass at plants, lift stations, etc.
  • Wash trucks This is not a full list of all job duties, you must be flexible and not afraid of multi-tasking.
This position is full-time with call outs. There will be a 90-day probation period. No Insurance - Monthly Stipend paid WV PERS retirement
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License High School Diploma/GED Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
