Job Description
Multiple Openings available! Winfield, WV (Onsite) W2 contract role 6+ Month assignment with chance of extending/converting to full time
Job Summary:
Performs manual and custodial duties in power plants to maintain cleanliness and neat appearance of the facility.Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
Filling Kerosene Heaters, Snow Removal as needed, in addition to normal labor duties. Sweeps, washes, cleans, and paints buildings, floors, and equipment. Washes down all concrete slab areas and roadways around plant site to remove coal/ash dust and sludge products. Shovels coal spillage onto conveyors. Removes all trash from the facility and cleans spills that have occurred within the plant.Basic Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED, Less Than One Year of Experience. Must have a valid drivers license.Additional Requirements:
Must be willing to work rotating shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays. Must respond to callouts in both outage and non-outage work to maintain and support business operational needs and schedules. Must be able to learn and comply with all applicable plant operating instructions and procedures. Must be able to learn and comply with the rules, safety practices and procedures applicable to the work environment and report unsafe conditions and practices. Must learn and have a working knowledge of Safety and Environmental guidelines. Communicate effectively, both verbally and written. Demonstrate professional conduct and effective interactions with employees, contractors and others.Benefits:
