Assistant Manager, Logistics Department:

Our Assistant Manager of Logistics will play a key role in ensuring seamless transportation operations while leading a team dedicated to exceptional guest service. This position oversees our logistics staff, coordinates daily operations, and serves as a vital link between guests, employees, and external partners. Responsibilities Supervises a team of Transportation Service Representatives and Logistics staff and organize their daily operations. Coordinates all department-related guest service activities. Assists with personnel processing and reporting, including scheduling, reviewing, and advising seasonal staff. Acts as the departmental liaison for company affairs to external working partners and organizations. Provides job-specific and customer service training. Monitors employees' work and customer service performance against defined goals and objectives throughout the season. Requirements Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and other basic computer applications. Prior experience in learning and successfully utilizing new software applications is strongly preferred. Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment is required. Current, valid driver's license, with three (3) years of clean driving record. Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested. Must meet Company's clean driver eligibility requirements. Must pass a pre-employment background check. Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, employees, and other management using both verbal and written communication. Ability to think quickly and solve problems with available resources. Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals. Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards. Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Benefits Travel - FREE
