The Manufacturing Work Order Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of work orders through the manufacturing process. This role ensures that production schedules are met, work orders are accurately processed, and resources are effectively allocated to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, review, and manage work orders, ensuring they are accurate and complete with all necessary information, including materials, labor, and equipment requirements. Coordinate with production teams to schedule and prioritize work orders based on production capacity, inventory levels, and delivery deadlines. Adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues. Utilize company based intranet by scanning MO's to the Customs Room. Ensure that all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly allocated to meet production requirements. Work with the department leads by addressing any shortages or discrepancies. Monitor the progress of work orders through the manufacturing process, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks. Ensure adherence to production timelines and quality standards. Act as the liaison between production teams, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of work orders. Communicate any changes or updates to relevant stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of work order status, production outputs, and any issues encountered. Prepare and present regular reports on work order progress, production efficiency, and any discrepancies. Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of production. Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to enhance production efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives. Complete other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent attention to detail. Proficiency with manufacturing management systems (MMS). Good problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and inventory management. Ability to operate a forklift, as needed. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures; occasionally have to lift, pull, or push up to 50lbs.
