Audit driver logs, trip reports, and driver files to ensure full compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Serve as a daily point of contact for drivers, facilitating driver equipment requests, route book maintenance, and coverage for vacation or overflow freight.
Track and maintain daily and weekly pallet inventories and manage local database updates.
Interface directly with customers to deliver quality service, address inquiries, and resolve operational issues. experience 1-4 years skills Prior experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet administration.
Familiarity with driver route management and pallet tracking systems.
Proficiency with administrative software, payroll tools, and advanced Excel functions. qualifications Strong knowledge of general office administration, basic accounting practices (AP/AR, billing), and data entry.
Working knowledge of DOT reporting requirements, driver logs, and compliance standards.
