This position will support both customer-facing sales activities and day-to-day logistics operations for automotive clients. Responsibilities include customer communication, order follow-up, inventory coordination, shipment tracking, operational reporting, document preparation, and communication between customers, warehouse employees, and Hwasung management. Key Responsibilities Customer & Sales Support Support communication with automotive customers regarding orders, inventory, shipment schedules, and operational requirements. Assist with customer inquiries and follow up on open requests. Prepare customer updates, reports, quotations, presentations, and operational documents as needed. Maintain organized records of customer requests, pricing information, order status, and project activities. Support sales and business-development activities for existing and potential automotive customers. Assist with preparing information for customer meetings, reviews, and site visits. Follow up with internal teams to ensure customer requests are completed on time. Communicate changes in customer demand, schedules, or priorities to the appropriate team members. Operations Coordination Assist with daily warehouse and logistics coordination. Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments. Track order status and delivery schedules. Coordinate with warehouse personnel regarding receiving, inventory, picking, staging, kitting, and shipping requirements. Assist with scheduling trucks, deliveries, and customer pickups. Monitor urgent or time-sensitive shipments and communicate delays or issues promptly. Help coordinate material flow between receiving, storage, staging, and shipping areas. Support daily operational priorities based on customer requirements. Inventory Support Assist with inventory tracking and reporting. Review inventory records and help identify shortages, discrepancies, or unusual conditions. Coordinate with warehouse employees to verify physical inventory when necessary. Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities. Maintain accurate records of received, stored, staged, and shipped materials. Assist with investigating inventory discrepancies. Communicate potential material shortages to management and customer-facing teams. Kitting & Automotive Logistics Support Support customer-specific kitting, sequencing, and component preparation activities. Monitor work-order status and customer delivery requirements. Help confirm that required components are available for scheduled kitting or shipment. Assist with tracking shortages, incomplete kits, or incorrect materials. Maintain records related to customer-specific logistics programs. Support implementation of standardized processes and work instructions. Korean-English Communication Communicate with Korean-speaking customers, management, suppliers, and business partners. Assist with communication between Korean and English-speaking employees. Translate operational information, emails, meeting notes, and basic business documents when necessary. Help ensure customer instructions and operational requirements are communicated accurately across teams. Participate in meetings with Korean customers and business partners as needed. Reporting & Administrative Support Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Maintain customer and logistics documentation. Assist with preparing Excel reports for inventory, shipments, order status, and operational performance. Organize bills of lading, packing lists, receiving records, shipping records, and other logistics documents. Maintain organized electronic and physical files. Assist management with scheduling, meetings, customer visits, and general administrative tasks. Prepare meeting notes and follow-up action items when required. Customer Service Maintain professional and responsive communication with customers. Follow up on open issues until they are resolved. Help investigate delivery, inventory, labeling, or shipping discrepancies. Communicate customer concerns to management promptly. Support corrective-action follow-up when operational issues occur. Maintain positive working relationships with customer contacts. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve communication, reporting, inventory tracking, and logistics processes. Assist with process standardization and documentation. Support 5S, workplace organization, and continuous-improvement initiatives. Help management track recurring operational issues and corrective actions. Participate in projects related to new customers, new products, and logistics-program launches. Required Qualifications Professional working proficiency in Korean and English . Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong follow-up and problem-solving ability. Basic understanding of customer service, logistics, warehousing, or supply-chain operations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word . Ability to learn ERP, WMS, and customer inventory systems. Ability to work effectively with warehouse employees, customers, suppliers, and management. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Automotive industry Automotive logistics Warehousing Supply chain Sales support Customer service Logistics coordination Inventory control Manufacturing operations Third-party logistics (3PL) Kitting and sequencing Transportation coordination Import/export operations Experience working with Korean automotive manufacturers or suppliers in the United States is highly desirable. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, international business, operations management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of a degree. Work Environment This position requires a combination of office and warehouse-floor activity.
