Full-Time Position Summary Spitzlift Manufacturing is seeking an experienced, dependable, and positive Logistics & Quality Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for helping ensure that incoming materials and outgoing products are received, inspected, documented, packed, and shipped correctly . The right person will be organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and willing to jump in wherever needed. This position also supports our quality processes and may assist with product assembly when needed. This is not an assembly management or supervisory position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing things correctly, communicates well, and enjoys being part of a team. Key Responsibilities Quality Control Perform quality inspections on products, parts, and materials. Verify products meet drawings, specifications, work orders, and customer requirements. Check completed products prior to packing and shipment. Identify and document quality issues or discrepancies. Maintain accurate QC inspection records and related documentation. Work with production team members to resolve quality concerns before products are shipped. Receiving & Inventory Verification Receive incoming materials, parts, and supplies. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentation. Inspect received materials for quantity, condition, and obvious quality issues. Properly identify and route received materials to the appropriate location. Maintain accurate receiving records. Shipping & Logistics Verify orders are complete and correct before shipment. Ensure products are packed properly to help prevent damage during transportation. Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other required shipping documentation. Coordinate pickups and shipments with freight carriers and other transportation providers. Track shipments and maintain organized shipping records. Help ensure special customer shipping, packaging, labeling, or documentation requirements are followed. Production Support Assist with assembly and other hands-on production tasks when needed. Help keep shipping, receiving, QC, and work areas clean and organized. Work cooperatively with production, purchasing, accounting, and other team members to keep orders moving efficiently. Take on additional related duties as business needs require. Qualifications Previous experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, quality control, manufacturing, or a related position is required. Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Experience performing inspections and working from drawings, specifications, work orders, or similar documentation is preferred. Experience preparing shipping labels and freight documentation. Comfortable using computers and learning company software and systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and recordkeeping skills. Ability to safely lift and handle products and materials associated with the position. Ability to work independently while also being a strong team member. The Person We're Looking For Experience matters, but so does attitude.
