No Join Our Growing Team! Haven Health Cottonwood is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional Transportation Assistant (TA) to join our team. The Transportation Assistant is responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments while providing respectful, attentive assistance throughout the process. Working under the direction of the Executive Director, the TA will coordinate closely with Central Supply, Scheduling, and Nursing staff to ensure transportation is organized, timely, and safe. Key Responsibilities Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations. Assist residents with loading and unloading as needed. Coordinate transportation schedules with Scheduling, Nursing, and Central Supply departments. Ensure residents arrive at appointments on time and promptly communicate any delays or changes. Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintain company vehicles in a clean, safe condition. Follow all traffic laws, transportation safety procedures, and company policies. Work closely with nursing staff to ensure residents receive appropriate care and support during transportation. Maintain a professional, caring, and respectful attitude when interacting with residents, families, and staff. Requirements Must be at least 25 years of age to meet company insurance requirements. Minimum of 5 years of driving experience with a clean driving record and no violations. Must possess a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card . Ability to take an on-call shift once per month , including weekends. Successful completion of a background check, TB test, and drug screening. Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. Dependable, responsible, and committed to resident safety and well-being. Professional demeanor and a genuine desire to provide compassionate service.
