The Manufacturing Planners primary objective is to complete the contract review process and set-up of new orders. This position will also be responsible for scheduling of new orders. Essential Functions Blueprint Reading Initiate the order review process. Check revisions, quantities, prices, delivery date, material and outside process requirements. Set -up of the job detailing all job specifics. Make necessary updates to routers with cycle time, process changes and additional notes as needed throughout production process. Review and update outside process costs. • Schedule production jobs. Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion. Job Requirements and Qualifications Background in manufacturing and customer service required. Knowledge and experience with MRP, ERP and/or Scheduling software packages. Computer knowledge to include efficient use of Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and customers.
