Logistics Manager / Operations Manager Training will be provided•No experience is welcomed Position Summary The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily logistics operations with a primary focus on company asset repair and maintenance coordination and air freight dispatching . This position works closely with drivers, vendors, warehouses, airlines, freight forwarders, and internal operations teams to ensure equipment remains operational and air freight shipments are picked up and delivered accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable handling multiple time-sensitive operational issues simultaneously. Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Repair & Maintenance Coordination Coordinate repairs and maintenance for company assets, including trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other logistics equipment. Communicate with repair shops, dealerships, mobile mechanics, towing companies, and equipment vendors. Schedule preventive maintenance and emergency repairs while minimizing operational downtime. Track repair status and follow up with vendors to ensure timely completion. Obtain repair estimates and communicate repair costs and expected completion times to management. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance history, invoices, and equipment condition. Coordinate replacement or backup equipment when an asset is out of service. Monitor equipment issues reported by drivers and determine the appropriate repair solution. Assist with roadside breakdowns and other equipment-related emergencies. Verify that repaired equipment is ready and safe to return to operation. Air Freight Dispatching & Coordination Coordinate daily airport pickup and delivery assignments for air freight shipments. Dispatch drivers based on shipment priority, pickup location, delivery location, equipment requirements, and driver availability. Communicate with airlines, cargo terminals, freight forwarders, warehouses, and customers regarding shipment status. Monitor shipment availability and ensure freight is recovered from airline cargo facilities on time. Provide drivers with pickup numbers, AWB information, delivery instructions, appointments, and other required documentation. Track drivers and shipments throughout the pickup and delivery process. Respond quickly to delays, rejected pickups, cargo availability issues, driver problems, or other operational exceptions. Coordinate recovery trucks or replacement drivers when necessary. Verify PODs, BOLs, airway bills, and other shipment documentation. Provide timely shipment status updates to customers and internal teams. Maintain accurate dispatch and shipment records. Assist with after-hours or urgent air freight operations when required. Additional Responsibilities Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, vendors, warehouses, and internal departments. Identify operational problems and escalate major service or equipment issues when necessary. Assist with transportation scheduling and daily route planning. Track logistics KPIs such as on-time pickup/delivery, equipment downtime, repair turnaround time, and shipment exceptions. Support invoice verification for transportation, repair, towing, and maintenance expenses. Maintain organized electronic records and operational reports. Perform other logistics and operations duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience coordinating truck or equipment repairs is preferred. Air freight, airport cargo, freight forwarding, or last-mile transportation experience is a plus. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple urgent tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills. Basic knowledge of trucks, trailers, forklifts, or commercial vehicle maintenance is preferred. Comfortable communicating with drivers and outside vendors. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other logistics or transportation management systems. Ability to work independently and make operational decisions when necessary. Preferred Skills Air freight dispatching and airport cargo recovery experience. Knowledge of AWB, BOL, POD, and other transportation documentation. Experience working with repair shops, dealerships, towing companies, and mobile mechanics. Familiarity with commercial trucks, trailers, and material-handling equipment. Experience handling time-sensitive or expedited freight. Ability to communicate in both English and Chinese is a plus.
