The Production Planner will be responsible for production planning, inventory management and strategic analysis at our manufacturing locations. The individual will develop production schedules to ensure target goals are met on a weekly and monthly basis. The role helps determine material, labor and equipment requirements, and they will prepare and deliver performance reports for Operations leadership. This role will report to the Operations Planning Sr. Manager. This is a full-time, on-site role with company benefits based out of our manufacturing facility in Brea, CA. The anticipated base compensation for this role will be $80,000- $95,000.
What You'll Do:
Production Planning Manage production plan, work order priorities, short- and long-term capacity plans, and reporting for all lines.
About You:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration preferred 2+ years related experience Ability to adapt quickly to changing business priorities and adjust production plans in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills Outstanding communication (oral and written) skills, with ability to: collaborate effectively with peers across multiple areas of the business, communicate effectively and efficiently with external partners (suppliers etc.), and ability to efficiently communicate upwards with senior business leaders Detailed, organized, structured and efficient problem solver, able to quickly identify the most important things to focus on in an environment where things are rapidly changing every day Able to develop and maintain strong cooperative working relationships within the group and across the organization Demonstrated excellence using Excel or GSheets to monitor performance Experience using an ERP and WMS system; Netsuite experience a plus Someone who gets things done without perfect resources, is innovative and works with a sense of urgency Someone who has high standards, takes ownership, and is invested in the outcome Takes ownership of issues by anticipating risks and proposing solutions Someone who proactively help others, stays positive and has a good sense of humor #LI-FULLTIME
