Fully Onsite Role Overview BEPC is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our client's manufacturing and supply chain team in Carlsbad, California. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong experience in production planning, MRP, inventory management, and data analysis who enjoy solving complex manufacturing challenges and improving operational performance.

In this role, you will help ensure material availability, production continuity, and on-time delivery by developing production plans, maintaining planning parameters, analyzing supply chain data, and partnering closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of MRP , advanced Microsoft Excel skills, manufacturing experience, and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable decisions. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain production plans to support customer demand and manufacturing schedules. Monitor and maintain planning parameters, including safety stock, reorder points, lead times, lot sizes, and MRP settings. Analyze production, inventory, and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, shortages, and improvement opportunities. Generate reports, dashboards, and planning analyses to support Production Planning and Operations teams. Partner with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to resolve material and capacity constraints. Support root cause analysis for production shortages, late orders, planning exceptions, and delivery risks. Maintain planning master data and ensure accuracy within ERP systems. Use data to support planning decisions and improve inventory, material availability, and production flow. Identify opportunities to optimize planning processes and improve operational efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization. Maintain strong communication with cross-functional stakeholders regarding production priorities and supply risks. Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong data accuracy and follow-through. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in STEM, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, purchasing, or a related manufacturing function. Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and production planning principles. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: Pivot Tables Power Query Advanced formulas Data analysis Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations, and Supply Chain teams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications SAP experience strongly preferred , particularly SAP S/4HANA or ECC. Experience with SAP PP, MM, or Supply Chain modules.
APICS CPIM
certification strongly preferred. MBA or advanced business education. Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms. SQL experience, including writing and troubleshooting queries. Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar analytics platforms. Experience creating dashboards and data-driven planning tools.
