Job Description

Job Summary A growing company is seeking a Project Specialist to support new product development, overseas manufacturing, supply chain coordination, and customer-driven projects. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese professional who enjoys managing details, coordinating across time zones, and helping products move successfully from concept through production and delivery. The Project Specialist will work closely with overseas factories, internal departments, and customers to support product specifications, costing, timelines, production status, quality questions, and delivery expectations. This role offers the opportunity to be a key connector between manufacturing partners, customers, and internal teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a great fit for someone who values teamwork, clear communication, supportive cross-functional leadership, and the opportunity to build a long-term career path in project management, supply chain, product development, and international manufacturing coordination. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate new product development projects with overseas factories, including product specifications, samples, testing, costing, and project timelines.
  • Work directly with manufacturers to monitor production schedules, capacity, raw materials, inventory, purchase orders, and delivery status.
  • Analyze product costs, including raw materials, labor, packaging, freight, tariffs, and other supply chain-related expenses.
  • Communicate with customers regarding product specifications, project status, lead times, quality questions, and product-related inquiries.
  • Coordinate across customers, factories, and internal Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to support successful project execution.
  • Assist with product issues, specification changes, customer complaints, supply chain risks, and continuous improvement initiatives. Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
