You will collaborate with internal teams, transportation vendors, and customers to ensure timely service, operational accuracy, and positive customer experience. Support Shipment Registration, Logistics Coordination & Customer Service Help ensure transportation processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with customer expectations.

Process Shipment Orders:

Enter new orders and shipment information into computerized tracking systems accurately and efficiently

Coordinate Shipment Tracking:

Trace shipments with steamship lines, trucking vendors, railroads, and other transportation suppliers

Support Transportation Processes:

Initiate registration activities in accordance with contract standards and customer requirements

Manage Customer Communications:

Answer incoming customer calls and respond promptly to emails and service inquiries

Maintain Accurate Records:

Update and maintain complete, timely, and accurate records within proprietary databases and systems

Support Customer Satisfaction:

Escalate concerns when needed to ensure timely issue resolution and positive customer experiences Drive Accuracy, Organization & Operational Support Ensure logistics data, documentation, and operational workflows remain organized and compliant.

Review & Resolve Exceptions:

Identify database discrepancies, research issues, and support resolution of service exceptions

Maintain Department KPIs:

Support performance goals and customer satisfaction standards established by the department

Manage Documentation Processes:

Scan, separate, and maintain files within the

Document Management System Perform Administrative Support:

Assist with typing, mail distribution, phone messaging, and other office-related activities

Update Operational Logs:

Maintain schedules, tracking logs, and daily task updates accurately and consistently

Support Process Improvement:

High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree or related college coursework preferred 2+ years of related experience with emphasis in importing and exporting goods Domestic and/or international transportation and logistics experience preferred Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Typing speed of 40 WPM with proficiency in ten-key by touch Strong communication and multitasking skills Your Strengths You are detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused.
