full-time Job Summary Rust Logistics is seeking an experienced Logistics & Brokerage Coordinator to support our growing freight brokerage and transportation operations. This position is responsible for sourcing carrier capacity, negotiating rates, coordinating freight movements, managing customer and carrier relationships, and ensuring loads move safely and efficiently from pickup through delivery. The ideal candidate has previous experience working for a freight broker, 3PL, transportation brokerage, or truckload carrier operation. Benefits

- Source and secure qualified carrier capacity
- Negotiate carrier rates and maximize load profitability
- Manage freight movements from pickup through delivery
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers and customers
- Track and trace shipments while proactively resolving service issues
- Communicate with customers, drivers, brokers, and carrier partners
- Review carrier qualifications and onboarding documentation
- Assist with carrier compliance and risk management
- Enter and maintain accurate load information in company systems
- Coordinate appointments, pickups, and deliveries
- Resolve transportation issues and service failures quickly and professionally Required Qualifications
- Freight brokerage, transportation brokerage, or truckload logistics experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years freight brokerage or carrier sales experience
- Experience sourcing carriers and covering freight
- Familiarity with DAT, Truckstop, or other load boards
- Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Experience with carrier onboarding and compliance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plu
