Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Load Planner to join our logistics and transportation team. The Load Planner will be responsible for coordinating the efficient scheduling and dispatching of freight shipments, ensuring optimal utilization of transportation resources while adhering to safety regulations and customer requirements. This role plays a vital part in maintaining smooth road transportation operations, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with transportation management systems to support our dynamic logistics environment. Duties Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments using a Transportation Management System (TMS). Optimize routing, carrier assignments, and equipment utilization. Coordinate with carriers, warehouse teams, and customer service to ensure on-time deliveries. Monitor shipments and resolve scheduling or transportation issues. Maintain shipment documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proof of Delivery (PODs), and appointment confirmations. Track logistics performance and support process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in load planning, transportation coordination, dispatch, or logistics. Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Strong knowledge of freight operations, routing, and carrier scheduling. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills:
Experience with SAP, Samsung SDS, FourKites, Project44, or similar logistics platforms. Knowledge of EDI processes and carrier portals.Shift Timings:
8:00am- 5:00pm Scheduled Days
