We are currently looking for a Supply Planner for our office located in Lake Forest.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Maximizes supply chain performance & customer service by balancing customer demand, material availability, production capacity, inventory objectives & operational priorities. Leads production planning & scheduling by reviewing customer requirements, production schedules, equipment and labor capacity, and material availability; partners with Manufacturing, Operations, Production Supervisors, Sales, and Warehousing to prioritize and adjust work orders as business needs change. Manages material & inventory readiness by monitoring requirements and inventory levels, resolving material shortages, production constraints & planning exceptions, and recommending actions to prevent shortages, excess inventory, and production delays. Partners with Purchasing & Suppliers to expedite raw materials, address supplier delays, and align material availability with production requirements. Supports customers & commercial teams by providing timely information on order status, inventory availability, lead times, and readiness for pickup or shipment. Drives planning efficiency & continuous improvement by implementing tools & process improvements that enhance materials planning, inventory turns, and overall operational performance. Provides management with actionable insights by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing supply chain data & trends and recommending solutions to improve performance. Serves as the primary planning contact for assigned product lines & manufacturing sites, providing planning leadership, coordination and direction across functions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, production management or similar preferred 3+ years' experience in manufacturing process, inventory, management, or materials planning Bilingual in English & Spanish
