Position Overview We are looking for a Heavy Tow Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage the scheduling, coordination, and dispatching of our heavy tow trucks and service trucks. This role is fast-paced and requires strong organizational skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and management. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in dispatching or logistics, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining professionalism and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch heavy tow trucks and service trucks. Monitor active jobs to ensure timely response and completion. Serve as the central point of communication between customers, drivers, and management. Prioritize service calls based on urgency, location, and available resources. Track driver availability, truck locations, and job statuses using dispatch systems. Resolve logistical challenges quickly to maintain customer satisfaction. Document service calls, assignments, and updates accurately. Support drivers with information and guidance to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Strong communication and multitasking skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment . Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office tools. Preferred Skills Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance.
