Months Location :
Vacaville, CA 95688 Support procurement and material planning activities with a strong focus on external supplier management, purchasing execution, and supply chain analytics. Convert MRP/MPS requirements into purchase requisitions and purchase orders, manage supplier relationships, expedite orders, monitor delivery performance, and identify material shortages and supply risks. The role also develops and maintains supply chain dashboards using Power BI and Excel while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, R D, and Finance to ensure material readiness for production and new product introductions.
Job Responsibilities:
Convert MRP/MPS requirements into purchase requisitions and purchase orders to support production and material requirements.
Manage external suppliers and serve as the primary point of contact for procurement and material supply issues.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and material availability to ensure timely delivery.
Expedite purchase orders and proactively resolve supplier-related delays and supply chain issues.
Analyze supply chain metrics and develop dashboards to monitor on-time delivery, supplier reliability, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators.
Utilize Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable supply chain insights.
Monitor inventory levels to identify potential shortages, excess inventory, and supply risks.
Develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate material shortages and supplier risks.
Maintain accurate procurement and material information within ERP systems.
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, R D, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure material readiness.
Support material planning activities associated with production requirements and New Product Introductions (NPI).
Continuously explore and leverage new software and technology tools to improve procurement and supply chain processes.
Maintain effective supplier relationships while supporting cost, quality, delivery, and inventory objectives.
Work fully onsite in Vacaville, CA to support real-time collaboration and operational requirements.
Participate in the interview process, including a virtual panel interview and hiring manager interview.
