Job Description
Job Summary A growing manufacturing company in Chino, CA is seeking a Project Specialist to support new product development, overseas manufacturing coordination, supply chain planning, and customer-driven projects. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese professional who enjoys working across cultures, managing details, and helping products move successfully from concept through production and delivery. The Project Specialist will partner with overseas factories, customers, and internal teams in Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Sales. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, build strong supplier and customer relationships, and grow within a collaborative environment that values communication, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate new product development projects with overseas factories, including product specifications, samples, testing, costing, and timelines.
- Work directly with manufacturers to monitor production schedules, factory capacity, raw materials, inventory status, and delivery timelines.
- Analyze product costs, including raw materials, labor, packaging, freight, tariffs, and other supply chain-related expenses.
- Communicate with customers regarding product specifications, project updates, lead times, quality questions, and product-related inquiries.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with customers, suppliers, and internal Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.
- Assist with product issues, specification changes, customer complaints, and continuous improvement initiatives. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 per year.

Location:
Chino, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Coordinate new product development projects from specifications, samples, and costing through production and delivery.
- Manage communication between overseas factories, customers, and internal teams across multiple time zones.
- Support production planning, sourcing, inventory monitoring, supplier coordination, and supply chain risk management.
- Analyze product costs and help ensure projects stay aligned with quality, timeline, and delivery expectations.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, International Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, sourcing, product development, supply chain, or operations coordination.
- Experience working with overseas manufacturers, particularly in Asia.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, sourcing, product development, and supply chain processes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams across different time zones.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work outside standard business hours as needed to coordinate with international teams and suppliers. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with disposable medical devices, medical consumables, healthcare products, or other regulated products.
- Experience with OEM or private-label manufacturing.
- Experience with product costing, supplier management, forecasting, inventory planning, or international logistics.
